Privacy and Consent Policy
As part of our duty to our membership we are required to provide a Privacy and Consent Policy. Our aim is to collect and retain as little personal information as possible, in order to maintain the good running of the group, as well as ensure that any information provided is secure and safe.
Below we set out how we aim to achieve that, as well as identify any areas of explicit consent required and how you can change your mind and withdraw your consent at any time.

Your information, security and consent.
By registering as a member of HONM you consent to us securely storing the details you provided. Your information and any files containing your details are protected.
If you have consented, you will receive emails from us regarding upcoming club events and occasional news items. Currently we anticipate only sending 2 or 3 emails a month and we do not have any plans to increase that amount.
We will not share your details and email address with any company or organisation outside of HONM, or with other members of HONM.
If you no longer wish to receive email communications from HOMN, but still wish to remain a member, please email admin@honm.co.uk informing us and we will take you off the email communication list.
2. Your image, photographs and consent.
We do not permit the taking of general photographs at HONM events, except by one of the organisers or an official nominated photographer, as per the HONM Photography Policy. A designated area may be identified for you to take photographs, either of yourself or with others that consent.
There may come a time when we may wish to include some photographs from an event on the website, on our Facebook Group page and other social media. Before such pictures are taken and used we will ask your consent and permission.
If at some point an image is used that you no longer want to be included, you may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us at admin@honm.co.uk and telling us which pictures you would like us to remove.
In the event that you wish to no longer be a member of HONM, your information will be permanently deleted from our records. Please email admin@honm.co.uk and we will remove you from the organisation, any information we hold will be permanently deleted.
