"Come for a drink and a chat, in a bar, with ya bum out!"

Here are overviews, photos and reviews from past events that show the diversity and experience of people that have attended HONM events.

Not all events are photographed and only those people who have given permission to be included are shown here.

I have to say, I absolutely loved Sunday! What a fantastic experience it was. Really chilled environment and it was great to meet some nice guys.

I've already signed up for the next one and really looking forward to it.

I don't  think it's an exaggeration to say I was spirituality and emotionally elevated being around such positive male energy.

All those interactions, and the exchange of ideas and experiences...left such a positive effect on me.

It is now Wednesday, and I am still buzzing and beaming after the launch event on Sunday.

I cannot find additional words to express to you what I felt and how grateful that this event has been brought to the fore.

Meet-Up/Music Recital 26 October 2025

"Just a quick note to say thank you for coordinating such a great event today. It was lovely to meet you and the others.

My pre-event nerves were totally unnecessary as everyone made me feel welcome, accepted, and there were no awkward moments. See you at the next event for sure." D

"Hi... just wanted to say I had a great time today at the two events. I was a bit dubious when I saw the weather forecast for today and the low temperature. But I felt warm enough. [Phew! ed.]

The Harp Recital by Llywelyn...was wonderful and I really enjoyed it."

A Double Header this month!

  • 27 people attended across both the Meet-Up and the Music Recital - with a lovely mix of returners and new people joining us. The MFT (Most Furthest Travelled) Award definitely goes to guys from North Wales who came just for the Music Recital!

  • A few hardy souls still managed some time outside at the Fox, thanks to good heating and getting cosy on the benches.

  • The Recital was a delightful, varied, relaxing journey through several pieces, all associated with aspects of water. Llyweyln, our gorgeous Welsh harpist, gave an informative and interesting introduction to each piece, setting the context and meaning, before playing each one beautifully. We will definitely be inviting him back in 2026.

Meet-Up 24 September 2025

Sept HONM 3.jpg
  • 31 attended in the end.

  • Many new to the event.

  • The shy, the confident, the mature, the younger, the welcoming, the inclusive.

  • Hot fires keeping us warm and toasty whilst still outdoors.

R's journey this month:

"Thank you for your email, that was very kind of you. I would love to come to the September...event if I can...I’m shy so I have asked a friend if he would come with me ‘to hold my hand’ I am waiting to see if he can. Thanks again and I do hope I can get up the courage to come.

Thank you for the email, and everything in it. I will try to make it - my friend cannot.

Thank you for this afternoon, what a lovely bunch of guys.

[It was] so nice to meet you...thanks for chatting, it took my nerves away. Fear of being the oldie sitting in the corner with no one to talk to. I was nervous but it soon left as Mark was so kind to talk to me and then Roy, and Pete, and Chris, and another Mark and the beautiful Tom...an amazing time, so thank you :)"

"Hey guys, just wanted to say what a great afternoon I had at Hang Out Naked Midlands. It was my first visit but was made to feel welcome. Very well organised and The Fox is a great venue. A good mix of ages and very social. I went on my own so was unsure but felt so comfortable and chatted to loads of people. I’d totally recommend it and I plan to go again."

Meet-Up 24 August 2025

What a Bank Holiday that was!

  • On just our third Meet-Up, 37 people attended which is our highest attendance yet - and on a bank holiday too!

  • Noticeably, over a third of those, 14, were completely new to HONM and the Meet-Ups.

  • And what a contribution they made to the whole experience as they mingled, chatted. laughed, engaged and had fun, alongside the 'old timers', all celebrating being socially naked in an all-male, non-sexual environment.

  • Time again flew by, even with our usual finish time of 4:00pm. With some people continuing the networking, laughter, chats and connecting socially with each other at Eden Bar afterwards hosted by Hang Out Nude Midlands, which is becoming a regular event.

"The...gathering was a refreshing experience! Everyone was open, welcoming, and genuinely interested in connecting. Those conversations weren’t just talk; they were healing. They reminded me of who I am, and who I want to be.

No doubt about it, I’d definitely go there again."

"Thank you very much for the space and for organising the Meet-Up. I felt really comfortable and it was a very therapeutic environment, which I truly appreciated.

Overall, it was a very positive experience and I’m looking forward to future events."

Meet-Up 27 July 2025

Another success!

  • 22 people attended in the end, with 31 registered

  • Again a very varied mix of people attended, several coming from afar. There were several newcomers, which was lovely and again a range of experience in being naked in an all-male environment.

  • Time seemed to fly by, even with a finish time of 4:00pm. With some people continuing the networking, laughter, chats and connecting socially with each other at Eden Bar afterwards.

  • Just a couple of photographs were taken this time, with more to come at future events.

Launch Event 22 June 2025

What a success!

  • 33 people attended in the end, it could have been 40!

  • A mix of people attended, many experienced at being in a naked/naturist space and some completely new to being naked in a public environment with other men.

  • With the numbers, we extended the event by an hour, which allowed more time for more networking, laughter, chats and connecting socially with each other.

  • For an honest, fun review go to the Tales Of The Second City blog to read about their experience.
